Why Make Snow?

Why Make Snow

Natural Gas and Oil exploration requires extensive road networks to be built and that comes with a significant expense of manpower and money.  Not too mention the construction of roads causes great ground disturbance and environmental concerns most contractors don’t to deal with.

For decades the winter time has been the “go-time” for work in the North Country because the ground is frozen, and access for heavy machinery and equipment becomes much easier when you’re not fighting the muskeg.  Sometimes however… Mother nature doesn’t cooperate for whatever reason or you come across an obstruction that might be difficult to overcome without pushing a road.  This is where our snow making services come into play.

With our industrial snow making equipment we can deliver enough snow to build natural bridges across ravines, creeks, ditches, muskeg and other rough terrain.  The snow machines can run 24 hours a day and produce enough snow that can be pushed around with dozers and other machines.  With an endless supply of snow you could get an early start on the season or just make sure that next project doesn’t get delayed because of access problems.

Our Snow Machines Are Portable

Our light-weight snow making machines are portable and easily towed around with pickups and fine-tuned by hand by our skilled crews.  We can move from jobsite to jobsite quickly and be setup without delay.

We Provide A Heated Trailer

We operate our compressors in a heated trailer so during those really cold snaps -30 and below our equipment doesn’t freeze up and cause delays.  We can make snow continuously for days if that’s what you need us to do.
